Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

·       To be different: We must honor God through our bodies

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

·       We Sacrifice Self to Live for Him

·       True worship has little to do with what comes out of our mouth-

·       True worship is all about what comes out of our lives. 

Romans 12:2a Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Romans 12:9 (AMP) Love is to be sincere and active [the real thing—without guile and hypocrisy]. Hate what is evil [detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness]; hold on tightly to what is good.

·       To be different: Allow God’s power to renew our mind

Romans 12:2b Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
