Psalm 78:4-7 We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming
generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that
he has done. 5 He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which
he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, 6 that the next generation
might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their
children, 7 so
that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but
keep his commandments.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our
troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we
ourselves receive from God.
Daniel 12:3 Those who are wise[a] will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and
those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to
all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will
counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Habakkuk 3:17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no
sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the
Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
