James 1:13-16 When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." Numbers 35:31, 33 (ESV) Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death.  33 This will ensure that the land where you live will not be polluted, for murder pollutes the land. And no sacrifice except the execution of the murderer can purify the land from murder.
